Great pictures. I still don’t know all the areas since all of these great little pockets around here are close to each other.

I wouldn’t worry about Anthony’s words since he misspelled Montecito and amazes.

I’ve now updated the post with the correct location. At the scene this morning the location was described to me as Montecito Heights, and I’ve since had a few emails giving me other names also.

I am very familiar with this area as I represent it on our Neighborhood Council. It still amazaes me how many people have no idea where they live or where each communities boundaries are at. This is in the Happy Valley Community adjacent to Rose Hills.
Montecity Heights is not covered in this area and El Sereno is not even close by at all. Get back to me if you care for more details on what part of the City this is located in.

James, Thanks for catching these images. (I’m a neighbor in Montecito Heights.) Some of the photos I saw on your website are breath taking. The photo of that lit compound on the bluff, among the stars and galaxies is transcendent. Thank you.
